GateCore, in plain English

AI assistants can now spend money. Someone has to keep that safe.

GateCore sits between an AI and the things it wants to use or buy. Before anything happens, we check who's asking, apply your rules, and set the money aside. Afterward, you get a receipt that proves exactly what happened. Think of it as the toll booth, the cash register, and the receipt printer for AI, all in one place.

How it works

Six checks between an AI and your money.

Every request an AI makes goes through the same six steps, in order, every time. If any step fails, nothing runs and no money moves.

01
WHO IS THIS?
We confirm the request really came from an approved AI, like checking ID at the door. Fakes and copied requests are turned away.
PASS
02
TRACK RECORD
Does this AI have a history of doing good work? Trust here is earned from real, verified results. It can't be claimed, and it can't be bought.
GOOD
03
YOUR RULES
Your rulebook decides: approve it, slow it down, ask a human first, or refuse it outright.
APPROVED
04
MONEY ASIDE
The price is set aside before any work starts, so you never pay for work that didn't happen.
$0.80
05
DO THE WORK
The task runs. Only the exact task that was approved, nothing more.
DONE
06
THE RECEIPT
Payment completes, the seller gets their share, and a receipt goes into a permanent record.
RECEIPT

When a request needs a human decision, it shows HOLD until someone approves; the money waits too. A refused one shows DENY, along with the exact rule that said no.

Two sides, one gate

Whichever side you're on, the gate works for you.

If your team uses AI

Let your AI spend, within limits you set.

Put money in an account and write down the rules: how much, on what, and when to ask you first. Then your AI can buy the data and services it needs to do its job.

  • Spending limits that are actually enforced, on every single request
  • A human sign-off for anything sensitive, and the money waits until you decide
  • A receipt for every purchase, ready for your bookkeeper
  • Change your mind? Switch an AI's access off in one step
If you have something to sell

AI is already interested in what you have. Get paid for it.

AI systems want good data and useful tools. Today, many just take what's publicly reachable. GateCore gives them a paid, permissioned way in, on your terms.

  • You decide who gets access, for what purpose, and at what price
  • List it once, and any approved buyer can find it and purchase it
  • Your share of every sale is split out automatically
  • Proof of exactly who received what, and under which terms

Lock the back door. Sell tickets at the front.

Where the buying happens

The shopping happens inside an AI chat.

People already ask AI assistants to handle things. GateCore plugs into those assistants, so when one needs to buy data or a service, the purchase runs through your GateCore account: identity checked, limits applied, receipt filed. The chat is the storefront; GateCore is the checkout counter.

The assistant can't pretend to be someone else: identity comes from GateCore's records, not from what the AI says about itself.

Done. Parcel history and market brief attached. The purchase cleared through your GateCore account: two transactions, $0.85 total, receipts filed.
The parts

Three parts. One system.

01
The checkpoint

The Gateway

The machine at the center. Every AI request passes through it: identity checked, rules applied, price calculated, money handled, receipt issued. This is where an AI action becomes a safe, paid, provable transaction.

  • Confirms identity in a way that can't be faked or replayed
  • Sets money aside first; splits out shares automatically
  • Writes every action into a permanent, checkable record
02
The control room

The Console

The screens humans use. See every AI, every rule, and every dollar in your account. Approve actions that are waiting on you, change the rules, or shut something off.

  • Every rule change is recorded: who changed what, and when
  • A queue of actions waiting for human approval
  • A live feed of everything happening in your account
03
The store

The Marketplace

Where sellers list what they offer and AI buyers find it, including buyers shopping straight from the chat assistant their owner already uses.

  • Publish an offer once; every change is versioned and kept
  • Buyers and sellers each see their own side, privately
  • A refused AI is told exactly how to get proper access instead
Why you can trust it

Provable, not promised.

Most software asks you to trust its logs. GateCore produces evidence you could hand to your accountant, an auditor, or a counterparty who doesn't trust us either.

Receipts anyone can check

Every action produces a sealed receipt that can be verified independently, so you don't have to take our word for what happened.

A money history that can't be quietly edited

Every cent is recorded in a linked chain. If anyone tampers with the history, the chain visibly breaks.

Every decision has a name on it

Every approval, hold, and refusal records which rule decided it, which AI asked, and which human was involved, when one was. Nothing is anonymous.

The jargon, translated

Six words you'll hear a lot.

The industry view of this site uses these freely. Here's what they mean.

AGENT

An AI that acts

An AI that can take actions on your behalf: buy things, file things, call other services. Not just chat with you.

POLICY

Your rulebook

Your rules, written down once and enforced automatically on every request: how much, on what, who approves.

MCP

The standard plug

The open standard AI assistants use to connect to outside tools. GateCore speaks it, so assistants can shop through us.

SIGNED RECEIPT

A sealed receipt

A receipt with a cryptographic seal, so anyone can check it's genuine and unaltered without asking us.

LEDGER

The money record

The permanent record of every cent moving. Ours is written as a linked chain, so edits to history are visible.

SETTLEMENT

Money changing hands

The moment payment actually completes, after the work is done. Until then, the money is only set aside.

Getting started

A guided setup, not a software project.

Nothing gets installed on your computers. We run the infrastructure; your AI talks to it. Going live looks like this:

01
See it run
We demo it on your actual use case: real decisions, real receipts.
02
Set up
We create your account, register your AIs, and issue their credentials.
03
Set the rules
A working session to put your limits and approvals in place.
04
Go live
Add funds and run a one-cent first transaction, the first line in your record.
05
Stay informed
Regular reports of every decision, receipt, and payment.
FAQ

Fair questions, straight answers.

What is GateCore, in one sentence?
It's the checkpoint between an AI and the real world. It checks who's asking, applies your rules, handles the money, and hands you a receipt.
Is my money safe?
Here's exactly what the system does: the price of a task is set aside before any work starts, and it's only paid out if the work actually completes; otherwise it goes back. Every movement is written into a record designed so tampering is visible. And you set the limits: how much any AI may spend, and what needs a human's sign-off first.
What stops an AI from overspending or buying something it shouldn't?
Every request is checked individually against your rules before it runs. There's no "running tab." A request over the limit is refused. A sensitive one is held for a human, with the money waiting. And you can switch an AI's access off in one step, immediately.
Do I need to be technical to use this?
No. Setup is done with our team, and nothing installs on your computers. The day-to-day work of approving held actions, adjusting limits, and reading reports happens in ordinary web screens. If you can use online banking, you have the skills.
Can I use it through the AI assistant I already have?
That's the idea. GateCore connects to AI assistants through an open standard called MCP. Link a funded GateCore account, and the assistant can find and buy what it needs, inside the limits you set, with every purchase receipted.
How is this different from just giving my AI a credit card?
A credit card can't check who's actually using it, can't ask you before a sensitive purchase, can't refuse a category of spending, and can't prove afterward exactly what happened. GateCore does all of that on every single request, and it never pays for work that didn't complete.
Can we use it just inside our company?
Yes. Skip the marketplace entirely if you like. Use the gate purely as the safety layer for your own AI: your agents, your tools, your rules, and a receipt for everything they do. Nothing installs on your computers; your AI talks to our service.
What if I don't want to charge anyone?
Set the price to zero. Every other protection still runs: identity checks, your rules, human approvals, receipts, the permanent record. Zero-cost mode is how you use GateCore purely for control and record-keeping rather than billing.
Where did the jargon go?
It's on the industry view of this site, which covers the same product at full technical depth: cryptographic signatures, hash-chained ledgers, policy engines. Use the toggle in the bottom-left corner whenever you're ready.
